Start a news business tomorrow

The amount of media that’s available to the average user is a vastly much larger superset than anything that’s ever existed in human history.  That is the best basis to start thinking about new business ideas!

Clay Shirky : „If I was going to start a news business tomorrow, I would start a news business designed to produce not one new bit of news, but instead to aggregate news for individuals in ways that mattered to them.“

Clay Shirky – is a writer, consultant, and adjunct professor at the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) at NYU. He is the author of Here Comes Everybody: The Power of Organizing Without Organizations, and blogs prolifically about the media and the Internet. Read his original post about the Semantic Web.
